(A little advert here for a book you might want to check out…)

Ok, after announcing some time ago that I was getting down to writing The A to Z of Spanish Proverbs (working title), I haven’t really made much progress… Although I’ve got a Trello board with a good list of the different proverbs, and I even started working on some of the chapters. This is because I’ve been finishing All the World’s a Workplace, and it’s taken way longer than expected. But worth it, and coming out in October 2026. Meanwhile, back in Spain (mainly back in Madrid, let’s face it), my husband has published a book of photographs taken over the last 15 years in different barrios.
